Let in storm!!! I got the new 12X20 Canopy anchored to the Deck so I don't have to worry about it going airborn....  I'm already really enjoying that thing!!!

Mornin comradesCoffeetea

Couldn't make it here yesterday. The water pump for the house went belly up Monday, and I had to replace it yesterday. It took most the day to put the new one in and the pressure switch is screwed up. It is supposed to be a 30-50 psi switch, but it's only going to 42lbs when it shuts off. I thought about putting the old switch on the new pump, but I was beat by then and it could wait a few days. Now I get to wait on the phone for a hour waiting to talk to a factory tech to try and get a new switch.

Oh yeah, the weather yesterday was hot and very humid. The humidity is lower today and a little cooler too.

Do you know how to adjust the pressure on the pump? I did mine. Went from 50 psi to around 62 psi or so. I'm thinking of bumping it up a tad more.

If you take the top off the pressure sw there should be two adjustment nuts on long screws with springs.  The larger of the two springs and screws should be the turn ON pressure adjust.  the smaller spring N nut adjusts turn OFF pressure.  They are somewhat interactive...

Turn the LARGE nut only, clockwise to increase pressure. There's a good bit of wires sticking around, so make sure you.....

....turn off the power to the pump before making any adjustments.

Talked to a factory tech a little while ago. She said turn the short screw 3 turns clockwise.

Thats the interactive part....  Both turn ON and Off pressures went up equally with adjusting only the larger nut/spring.

Lynn, I'd sneak up on that adjustment... its sounds a little excessive but the factory rep is saying the same thin I am....   Take the blue pill!  Bandito

No Mark,  You should try to keep about a 20 PSI swing between Turn on and Off pressures or you'll over work the pump a bit and run up your electric.

Be hesitant about adjusting your system for over 60PSI!!!  First it runs up your electric cause the pump has to work HARD to give you an extra 10-20PSI.  Remember it's pumping up hill from deep in the ground usually and the pump has to fight gravity and building back pressure.  Also above 55 psi you really start increasing the risk of leaks in your plumbing....

Presonally I like a 'stiff shower' (hi pressure) but there is a price...Bucky
