Mornin gents

Went to visit my dead friends and relatives yesterday. Some of them didn't want to talk to me. They started raining on me almost as soon as I got to their grave. Most were glad to hear from me though.

Cloudy, humid, in the low 80s, with a chance of rain today.

May get some heavy rain tonightConfused
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Hmmmm, pretty sad when you have to go to a graveyard to talk to friends that can't escape....
No really, I'm sure they enjoyed the visit and the recognition....

The old Kentucky Gun Company store was a full service gun shop, delicatessen, and liquor store, so Texas isn't alone.

Mornin gents.

Some tropical low named Alberto is just off to our west causing winds in the mid 20s and rain showers, with temps in the low 80s and high humidity.

This morning I was getting ready to take a shower when I realized I needed a new bar of soap. I turned around to get a new bar when I saw a wolf spider freeze on the bathroom floor. This thing was big enough that you could have saddled and rode him. I called for Mrs.BF to bring me my slipper, and she said OK. Now this spider was about a foot from the door, and I knew he would run when the door opened. Mrs. BF opened the door and the spider ran under the door and straight to her bare foot. I have never heard her scream like that and jump that high. She through me the slipper and yelled "KILL IT". Now for a brief second I thought about letting it go, but I had my orders, and it didn't run. It should have run. I made Mrs BF dispose of the corpse.
Afterwards I realized that when this wolf spider showed itself the ants had disappeared. Might have been better to give it a name and a place to sleep, but Mrs. BF would never agreed to that.
