Since Springfield Armory will not be getting their scopes out anytime soon I have decided to look elsewhere.  Please give me you opinion on which of these scopes would work best for my gun.  I plan to do a lot of long-range target shots and some hunting (from rats up to deer).  If there is a scope that I have overlooked please pick other and specify.  I want to stay in the $200-$350 range.  Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the votes so far.  I'll be checking this tomorrow (friday) before I go to buy the scope.

Thanks to all who have helped me in choosing which scope to get for my Bushmaster Varminter.  With your help and the help of David at SWFA I picked the Grand Slam.  Now I can finally go shoot my Bushy..

That was a nice set up....looks good too.  Let us now how it shoots.

The Grand Slam is an awesome scope with fully multi-coated lenses, micro trac adjustments and adjustable objective.  Put it down on 6x in low light and you will be amazed at how bright it is.

Josh,

I wanted to take a second and thank you for dropping by our facility today.  It was a pleasure talking with you, and installing a fine choice of optics on your Bushmaster.

Enjoy your new rig, and thank you for choosing SWFA for your optic needs.

Thank you for your special attention and willingness to give 110% effort to make sure that my rifle and scope configuration was going to be the best setup that it could be.  I'll be sure to post some results and pictures.

Here is a picture of my Varminter.  I shot it Saturday.  It shot well for being new and stiff.  I was getting some pretty consistant groups of around 1" at 100 Yards.  The worst was 1.75" at 100 Yards.  I'm sure that these results will improve once she gets broken in a little more and I get use to shooting her.  Once again thanks a lot.
