Im new to air rifles other than crap and have decided to get at least an entry level rifle.Narrowed down for now to the Beeman R9.
I only buy scopes from SWFA,so I was hoping for a little advice.
I can spend a couple hundred bucks and throw in a little more for rings and mount.
I feel confident buying off the samples list as I have done it a few times and  have gotten great deals.Any  help is greatly appreciated.

The 6 might not be enough for 50 depending on how accurate you want to get.. The 6 would be a better all around choice, but for targets at 50yds the 10 would be much better.

Yes,I might  take the 10xss off the remmy centerfire and put it on the beeman, then just get a 3-9ss for the remmy.

I have the R9 Goldfinger version, 20 cal and came with a Bushnell 4-12 with AO

Mine loves the Beeman Field Target Specials
GREAT air rifle

Not sure what I would put on it should that scope go bad, but it works fine and has held up to an air rifles recoil which can cause failures on some scopes

I know I will catch flack as I always do for suggesting a particular brand But Try the Nikko Stirling the Higher end scopes also look at the Falcons they catch a bad rap but are decent for the $$$...

Make sure you use a scope stop with your rings. The SS is fairly heavy and built like a tank. The 3/8"/11mm dovetails are marginal at best and you don't want that scope to move.
Great choice in caliber, too. I have been shoot 5mm's all my life.
