Hi, I am a newby here, just registered today. I am not sure if this website is the right place for my question, however I am desperate to do anything right now.

Question is this. I am assigned to develope a gas sensor module. This gas sensor works with IR(infrared) sensor and an accor(contains all the wavelengt of blackbody spectrum). The light sends by the acor and an IR detector receives only a light with exact wavelength. But this system has to be in a very reflective tunnel. on the one end of the reflective tunnel, accr is placed and on the other one, IR receiver.

So do you know any simulation program which could help me to simulate light density and the spectrum of all points in he tunnel? If you could help or suggest me anything I will very appreciate it. Thank you already.
Everything has to be better
