Hello CoyoteCaller

The 4200 has slightly better glass and the rainguard but I like the construction and the reticle choices on the Signature Select,

both re great scopes for the money and you can not go wrong with either.

you absolutely can't go wrong w/ the elite 4200's -

bright, clear, tough, and the rainguard coating is awesome.

UNLIKE ANY BUSHNELL EVER.

hangs w/ any scope under 800 bucks.

good luck.

+1

Personally I prefer the Signature Select from a cosmetic standpoint but the 4200, from an optics standpoint, probably is just a tiny bit better.
