What does the AO is on the bottom mean?  The adjustment for parallax can be in three locations....the rear like on a SS, side turret or on the objective.  A/O stands for adjustable objective.

I do not know of any way to change how close or how far the parallax will adjust without remaking the optical design and remaking the scope.

I am interested is what tricks you have heard of?

I heard you can take a hammer put the scope between two blocks of wood and tap it a few times to shorten the parallax  -- or was it the length of the tube, i forget.

Actually Roll%20Eyes NO you cant change it ===>  leave it just the way it was made and use it as a bench rest target scope at 50+ yds in BRIGHT DAYLIGHT ---- it is ----what it is.  If you want a scope that will focus down to 10 meters and has 20x get a Super Sniper for $299.  but why you would need that much power under 50 yards is beyond me.

I say since you own it - stick that 36x50 on a 22 or 22 mag or 17HMR and go shoot hundred yard targets off sand bags forget doing anything else with it.
