It is pretty bad and sketchy, don't say I didn't warn you......

When I was a kid in the late 70s I saw this movie on TV, I am pretty sure it was in color but I don't recall exactly.  I never saw the ending nor do I remember the plot, but ONE particular visual aspect of the movie has stuck with me all this time.  I am reminded of it from time to time and now I have the urge to see the film and re-visit why it was so compelling to me and has stuck with me all these years.

I believe there was some kind of rush for this standard old-style rocket to get off the planet.

Somehow the plot resulted in a lot of combat between these robots and another group.  In the fighting several times these robots were dismantled to reveal these strange "clean and neat" internal tubes.  In this one particular scene that has stuck with me this robot torso was hanging there with these colorful and neat tubes hangin down.  In the background you could see someone, perhaps it was another robot, batting these tubes of this clearly dead robot back and forth incessantly, almost fixated or something.

So anyhow, this brief video image has stuck with me all these years.  What the heck move was this?  Did I give you enough to go on?

I have attached an image that I hope helps.

Eh, forget it.  Last time I try and edit it.

Apparently some kind of filter of yours won't allow the word "sh*t" through without putting a star....and then it can't find the filename.  Doh!
