It may be a catch 22. We want the supreme court to up hold the Conststution but we need to also protect state sovereignty to the proper respect. I absoulty oppose what NY has done but in the event that the courts go rougue we need the states to retain adequate power to defend its freedom. Those states that violate liberty and freedom can be vacated by those who value their freedom. I haven't found yet a new continent to move to if the country goes communist/muslim.

Yes, this country is going 180 of what it should. The founding fathers knew how important the 10th amendment is to freedom was from the start.

Yeah,

Not sure how a state Supreme Court could rule on a 2nd Amendment argument.  NY must have a portion of their State Constitution that deals with gun rights.

MT does:

I would assume since N.Y. is one of the original 13 colonies and states, that they have a Bill of Rights too. I also assume that they have their version of the 2nd Amendment in that Bill of Rights. The problem is, N.Y. has been so corrupt for so long that they have forgotten it's there.

After thinkin about it some I have to back step. Knowing that those colonies were founded by people seeking a place to freely serve and worship the true and living God. And that if there is only one there today who's purpose is still to serve and worship God then there is hope that those basic liberties and freedoms will be preserved. I am thantkful that there is a call to reckoning and a chance that justice will prevail.
