im new here and first i want to say that i love this site.

i am in the process of buying a rem 700 sps varmint and want to mount my tasco 10x40x50 on the top.  this is a temp scope untill i save up for a super sniper.  my question is what are the best and least inexpensive rings and mounts for this gun.  i will be primarly be using this for a target gun and some coyote hunting.  thanks

(Short action Remington.)

Welcome To The OT!!

The Tasco is a 1" tube? If so, the aforementioned rings will work.
You MIGHT be able to get away with low rings, but the mediums will work for sure.
