Well.  Some time ago I had posted on this forum that I had an issue with the reticle on my Nikon Tactical.  I sent the scope back for warranty repair and around January 4th, I received confirmation that the scope would be replaced under warranty.

Well, here it is March 19th and I still have no scope.  I have called at least twice and have been told that they are waiting for inventory to arrive.  I realize that they are in the process of a switch over on these scopes but this is getting to be a little ridiculous.

I am not here to bash Nikon but this turn around is pretty unacceptable.  At the very least I would think they could give me some type of ETA ?

Anyone else have an experience like this with Nikon?

I'm damn sorry for you, Kray.

Thanks for the SITREP though.

Do you feel it's more of a matter of Nikon's incompetence or the scope being "switched out" and Nikon doesn't have the replacement readily available??

Or both??

Either way, they should have followed up much better than they did you.

I sort of believe it is beyond their control to an extent, but I don't get much sympathy when dealing with the guy at their service facility.   I think it has been the same guy both times.  Maybe I should try talkiong to someone else.

It has just left a sour taste in my mouth.
