The Nikon 1.5-4.5x20 is I think being dis-continued. It is a close-out price at $139.

thank-you big squezze, i just purchased this scope in matte for my wifes 44 magnum and am thrillred at the quality of this scope at this price. but i was curious as to the price differences. you see i hunt pennsylvania hardwoods and shots are usuallt within 100 yds and i like slim, light scopes. i do not go beyond 2-7 powers as thats all ineed so this scope is perfect for my needs  again i thank-you!!

yes big squezze it is a model 94 in 44 mag. she likes it alot because recoil is manageable and it is light and portable for her . i also hunt with a ruger blackhawk in 44 mag so the combo suits us well two guns-one load
