I recently picked one of these up and i was wondering what i should expect for performance?

So far it seems to be crap in mid day light and works great the lower light and even works fine at dark. I did get some trees to range 594 last night before dark.

It will not range a tree during bright light. Even has trouble ranging the hillside during bright light.

Anyone have much experience with these i got it on a deal where if i don't like it i can return it. Just want to make sure i am not expecting too much out of a cheapish range finder.

It will range big buildings fine all the time.
