I found where I can get a Nikon Omega 3-9x40 Nikoplex for $139 + shipping, or I can get the Nikon Primos for $219 + shipping.  Is it worth the extra coin for the Primos?

This is going on a .308 Stevens, and will be used for deer hunting.

I don't know anything about the Omega, but the Primos is a very good scope for the money.  I think it is worth the extra few bucks.

I have a Nikon Omega, Nikon Buckaster and Nikon Monarch.  I would compare the Omega to the Buckmaster.  Overall, I really like the scope, especially the BDC.  It sits on a TC Encore and the BDC is very accurate out to 250 yds.
