I am looking for advice on which scope to put on my  Thompson  Omega.  I am leaning towards  the  VX1  2x7  Shotgun scope  as I already have  two other  Leupold scopes  and I'm happy  with them  one VXII and a  VXIII . I've read good reviews of the Nikon Omega? I will be stand hunting for  deer.

I would go with the Omega. Nikon glass compared side by side with a Leupold is much brighter.
You may also want to check out the I.O.R. 4x32 hunting scope. I have owned a Nikon
Buckmaster, Nikon Monarch, burris Fullfiel II, and a Super Sniper 10x42. Once I got my I.O.R.
tactical I saw what truely great glass is, and switched over all my scopes to the I.O.R. line.
