I have been thinking of buying this scope. They advertise that the BDC circles represent 100, 150, 200. 225, and 250 yds if you shooting 150 grain powder charge (pellets or powder) and 250 grain bullets. Well I shoot 100gr of pellets and 245 gr barnes spitfire bullets. So my question is how far off do you think the BDC retical will be? Would it be close enough to justify buying it? OR is the answer going to be: buy it and go shoot to see?

Thanks in advance -js

I have that scope on my encore muzl loader, its a good scope in my opinion(although I'm fairly new to using scopes compared to most people here). as far as the claim that once you sight it in at 100yd. you'll be dead on at the other aimpoints I'm not to sure about that yet I was fortunate enough to take a real nice buck last year, he was trotting broadside to me at 80yds,I was able to follow him with ease through the scope and drop him. In the manual they give you they say you can easily tailor your particular shooting load to their scope hope this helps, good luck

my answer would be...........have to shoot and see. The yardage marks on my conquest are sometimes right on and sometimes not. Depends on temp & humidity and things like that

Buy the scope, you'll love it.  I have two of them and would not shy away from them at all.
