I need a good pair of Bino's for Coyote hunting. I have narrowed down my choices to the Nikon Monarch 8x42 and the Minox BV 8x42. Any suggestions? Thanks for any information

I don't own either of these, but I've looked through both in stores.  I think the optical quality is comparable.  I would recommend the Minox because they have a much bigger field of view.  The Minox is 389' at 1000 yards and the Nikon is only 330'.  They also have a great deal on the Minox at competitor of NY right now if you don't mind a minor color flaw in the armour.

The last time I was in Sportsman's Warehouse they had the Minox on sale also.

Hope this helps!

That's odd.  It substituted the word competitor for the name of competitor NY (one word).

It's not odd at all.  You just didn't read the rules.

Posting the names of and/or links to competitors to SWFA (the host of OpticsTalk) is not allowed.

I use a pair of Nikon Monarch 8X36 that work reel well,I think for the money it is pretty good glass. Also like the size for carring in the pocket of my coveralls.
