I have two of these scopes. One is a 3.3-10x44, and the other is a 6.5-20x44 illuminated reticle. The knobs on the 3-10 are 1/4 min calibrated, and on the 6.5-20 they are 1/8 min. (Both about a year and half old)
My question is (and I can't find an answer after reading all of the instruction manual that came with them), are the "mil-dot" reticles' dots in miliradian, or moa?
So I am trying to find out if these scopes are MIL/MOA, or MOA/MOA. Anyone know?
I'll call Nikon tomorrow if nobody does.

I had the 6.5-20x Monarch and I'm fairly sure the dots are in mils.

the mils on the reticle are mil--mils 36 in at 1000 yds. the calibrations on the turrets is moa, so by the current convention mil/moa.
