I purchased a scope today from elsewhere that was advertised as a Nikon Monarch UCC 2-7x32.  I can't find that specific scope on any of the vendor's sites including that of our beneficent host.  Is anyone familiar with this scope?

It is an older version of the Monarch.  I recall it being a decent little bugger.

I had one for a short period of time, it was replaced with a kahles 2-7x36 which was a significant upgrade to my eyes.  Most of the UCC line has been out of production for some time now, but that doesn't mean that they're absolute, especially if you got a good deal on one.

Yeah, I can "see" where the Kahles would be a significant improvement, but then, it should be.

ive got a 2 3x9's in the ucc lineup, and aside from a different eye box and some other small changes its still pretty close to the current monarch but not the same by any means. its a good scope.

I have both the 2-7x32 and 3-9x40 UCC Monarchs. The 2-7 in question is a very nice scope. It is compact and the glass is very good for the price range.

I got it used for $100.00.  It appears to have slight ring marks, but all I've seen to this point is photographs.

You will be very happy with it for that price.

That was a great deal.  I've got 2 2x7x32's in the UCC line.  One sits on a Ruger M77 International .308 and the other on a pre '81 BLR .358 Win.  It is a very good little scope IMO.  Good scope for small compact rifle.

I recently picked one up on a rifle I found.

Decent little scope.  I did a comparison of sorts to a new 2-7 Vortex Viper.  I think I've got it posted 'round here somewhere.  Maybe search under my name?
