Monarch of the 2. I have the 2.5-10x42 and love it.
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

I have actually had and used both. I found they were both very good. best thing if you can is to look at both yourself and see which you like better. the team primos is actually a monarch ucc If I remember correctly.

The "new" Monarchs have a 4x erector and 4" fixed eye relief. The glass, I believe on both, to be the same, my friend.

I had a 4-16x new Monarch. Good scope. The ocular housing is a little on the large size, thus it may interfere with your bolt throw, on certain rifles. A CZ, for example, could be a problem.

I have a Monarch Gold 2.5 - 10 X 50 30 MM with Talley mounts on a CZ and it works great.
