Have a look at the Leupold 1-4x20 shotgun scope. It is parallax free at 75 yards which is perfect for BG/DG. I had a IIc model fitted with a #4 reticle and click adjustment turrets, took it to Africa in 2009 and shot animals from 40 to 240 yards with it on a 9.3x62.
It now sits on my .416 Rigby and I have had no problems with it. It is light and won't unbalance a good BG/DG rifle.
