Ok Folks, Just noticed Nikon moved up into the higher power arena. Or should I say I never noticed them ranging to 32x before.
Never owned a Nikon before. Have heard some good things.
Anyone have the chance to try one and would like to compare it  to Burris. Bushnell and last but not least Nightforce.
I love my NF, want a March also but I still have room for optics thst do not require refinancing the home.

That really depends on which line of Nikons I have an Omega and the glass is OK but not nearly as good as a Bushnell 4200 or a Nikon Monarch. Nikon is capeable of using very good glass. Nightforce is awesome Burris is OK Bushnell is quite good for the money and usually a fine choice but tends to not  have enought internal adjustment to go out to long range where Nightforce has quite enough adjustment and great glass and great reticles. If you can afford a Nightforce you should not pass up your opportunity to own one. IOR is awesome glass also and well worth a look.

Considering the price difference if you are looking for a benchrest scope why not buy a Nikon - the only reason I can think of is the limited range of adjustment and it doesnt make much sense to make this a BDC as you can only use that feature at a scopes highest power.  These are definately going to need a solid rest and not useable for hunting etc.

I haven't seen the Nikon scope in question, but it has ED glass and should be very nice optically.
Boy, as Wes already stated, not much elevation in that scope.
20 MOA?? Whatever
I never understood how companies can make these scopes with all these cool features like locking side focus, ED glass, 4x erectors and not address the issue of W/E adjustments.
Guess you could get a canted rail to help with the lack of "up".
For strickly target shooting, I'd get the Nikoplex reticle instead of the BDC.
The Nikoplex is thinner and better in that regard, IMO. I've had both reticles.
Best wishes!! The glass on that Nikon "should" be comparable to your Night Force, I would think.
