Just purchased a Remington 700 ADL LS .30-06 and now I need a scope.   Went to Cabelas today and looked at the Fullfield II, VX-1, and the Buckmasters.  Of the three, the Nikon was the brightest.  The 2009 Nikon catalog does not list the Team Primos scope but the Buckmasters is there.  What is the difference between these two?

Out of the ones you listed I have had one of each and I can say that to my eyes The Nikon Buckmaster is the better of the three to my eye. I know that SWFA list only one team primos scope 3x9x40 w/ BDC and they are in the same price range as the Buckmaster but I can not tell a difference.

The Team Primos was based on the original Monarch UCC, in other words the optics and scope should be superior to the Buckmaster and the others listed.  The only thing I don't care for is the BDC, but thats an individual thing.

The BDC is a series of circles,  used as 'hold-over' points, when shooting at longer distances (ie. 300 and 400 yards)
