Both are good scopes.  Cheaptrick is the local Nikon fan and I am sure he'll chime in shortly.

I'd take Fullfield II over Buckmaster.  He'll probably recommend Buckmaster over Fullfield II.

Bottom line is that both are good scopes that will serve you well.  Both have a reputation for being very tough.  To me Fullfield II has better glass.  It comes down to price and reticle: for Mildot go with Buckmaster, for BallisticPlex go with Fullfield II.

As koshkin stated, I really like the BM w/ the mil dot and side focus.

One of, if not the best buy in optics right now.

I don't have any problems with Burris either, I just don't have much experience with them in general, and the FFII in particular.

The BallisticPlex reticle koshkin mentioned looks interesting.

Either scope will serve you well. Keep us posted when you decide.

You may want to check SWFA's sample list. They have a ton of stuff on there.

i was going to buy from there till i saw "refurbished" which makes me feel as if im may get a crappy scope.. i bid on a nikon buckmaster for 230 new on ebay last night and today i am having second thought about it, but i think i would have second thoughts about the burris if i bid on it as well. any time i am putting more than a hundred bucks down i do this till i get one.

If it were me, I would go with the factory fresh scope. Some of these factory re-ferbes were sent to the factory due to problems. Why take the chance. Both scopes are very good scopes and have good optics as well.
