Looking for a new scope. I believe my Simmons has failed me after about 5 yrs. I would like one of the 4200, but a little out of my price, this close to the hunt.

I stopped and looked at a Nikon Buckmaster today. looked good. Seemed clear. I have no knowledge of them. Any suggestions, or is there something maybe better for just a little bit more money?

If you can live with a 3-9x40, you can get a 4200 for less money.
 $258.95 from SWFA

So is NIkon paying you off or something? What I don't understand is that they offer there lower end scopes with side focus, and the higher end scopes with the adj obj. but then your a lefty and you would rather have the a/o than the side focus, which explains some of it.
