I have a Savage .308 and am looking for a scope for targets 100-400 yds. Is the Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 a good choice or is there something else I should look at? It will be mostly good conditions with good light, not much dawn or dusk shooting.

I'd want more power for paper at 400yds. There is a Burris 20X on sample list. Also a Sightron. That's just me. |
