I am leaning towards the Nikon 4.5-14x40 SF milldot buckmaster, but wanted to know how the windage and elevation adjustments are on this scope first before i got it.
This will be going on a RRA varmint Ar-15 |

Welcome to The OT!!
Yes, the Buckmaster in question is a great buy for the money. 1/4 MOA clicks and the Nikon's repeatability and accurate tracking are typically highly regarded.
Good to go!!
Edit to add: Just noticed your location. Stay safe, my friend. Thank you for your service and Godspeed!!

Hey cheaptrick,
I'm still looking at the link you sent me in the forum on the 3.3-10x44 Monarch UCC mildot. Would you put that on a varmint ar-15 or go with a 30mm tube side focus scope and spend more money? I have a few options on used scopes here but the Burris signature is like 14" long..what would you put on a varmint .223 you actually carry around and use in the field. No 8-36x56 stuff,,....I'm looking in the 3-9x40 range thanks |

I think the Nikon 3.3-10 would be great.

well as soon as i got home i went and picked up the buckmaster and let me say that i am very impressed with the overall fit and finish of the scope and the glass is very clear. The only problem no is i have to wait for my rifle to come in so i can mount it.
ohhh and for any one else wondering the mil dot setting is at 12X.
