I just purchased a Nikon UCC 6.5x20x44 Fine crosshair scope and was trying to moiunt it to my 20 degree long range base.  I cannot get the cross hairs to target at 100 yards.  Would a scope with more range be better for my needs 100-600yards.  My first Nikon, have had 10x mildots however (worked on the 20 degree base ok), wanted a variable, however, did not have any idea thia would be an issue.  Great scope as far as clarity and light gathering, just the limited adjust.  Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Do you mean that you have bottomed out the elevation in your scope, and you still can't "zero" at 100 yards?

You do have the thicker end or fatter end of the 20 moa base to the rear...Right?

What kind of rifle?

There should be some sort of adjustment for the elevation, other than the knob, but I'm not sure how it works on the Nikon.

Do you have an instruction manual that came with the scope? There is probably a adjustment screw under the turret that you can adjust, right?

I had a Buck Master, but I don't remember how it worked. I'm sorry.

You can call Nikon, they will tell you. You should have no problems zeroing that scope at 100 yards, even with the 20 moa base.

Did you find a solution? All else fails you could replace the base. That scope has a 1/8 moa adjustment. Could very easily see how you could run out of adjustments.

The monarch only has 38 minutes of elevation. If you are really set on the base and scope setup get some burris signature rings and shim it to a zero that way.
