Opinions on the Nikon 4x32 ProStaff Classic Rimfire for a Remington (Zastava) Model 5?

I have no experience with that model. I have a few Nikons and they are very good scopes in my opinion.
A 4x32 rimfire scope is a great start. It will be simple, reliable and easy to use on a variety of targets and game. Good luck, Doug |

I usually try to stick with Leupold VX II or III series scopes. But I can't justify $220 for a VX I on a $200 .22 rifle. The Nikon's seem to be decent quality and I've always liked the optics in photo gear, plus they have a lifetime warranty similar to Leupold's. I may just pull the trigger if no one has had any problems with these.

I like Nikon scopes but I'd give the Weaver serious consideration.

I have a Nikon Prostaff 4 X on a Marlin model 60 and it shoots fine. Clear lass for the money.
