Crap!!!  Bad timing.  Three weeks ago I bought a Nikon Monarch 2X10 for my son.  The jacket would have made a nice Christmas present.

is this closer to a monarch, buckmaster or prostaff series? What reticles are available for it?

I think I am going to jump on this offer. Hopefully on Wednesday they are still in stock and at this price. I want to get the super sniper scope rings to go with it. Does anyone know if the low profile rings will work. Or should I be on the safe side and get the Med?

I plan to put this scope on a 30-06 TC Venture I just bought. Just want some opinions. Like I said in a earlier post I was thinking on putting a super sniper tac rings with it. But here is my question this rifle is going to be used for primary deer hunting. So should I just get a good set of traditional style rings, or do you think going with the tac rings I am just making my rifle look tacticool? Rifles in the past I normally buy the weaver Grand Slam steal rings, with great success.

Standard rings will work fine unless you have a good reason to go with tactical. I actually use tactical on my muzzleloader because they go off and on with a 1/2 in wrench. Depending on where I am hunting I may have to use open sights and remove the scope. I don't need Q/D because I am not in that big of a hurry to take it off and the tactical were cheaper. But it's strictly a convienance issue for me and not a tactical/tacticool one.
We measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a crayon, and cut it with a chainsaw.

No there is not. Most 3-9 scopes do not have a parallax adjustment. I had the old Monarch 3-9x40 which is what this scope is only with the BDC reticle. Very good scope.

Seems this offer is over as the link no longer works.  Should this be removed from the "announcements"?
