Hi,

I have been offered a Nikko Sterling Diamond 6-24x42. The FOV is a bit narrow, otherwise it looks OK.

Anyone got one and care to comment ?

$180, so not free, but cheap compared to new.

However I have had Nikko Sterling scopes before and they were, how can I put this, best description ... optically challenged. Bandito

well from the reviews and all I have read and heard, they haven't changed!  your  $180 could be put to better use!

OK, thanks, will give it a miss. Just thought they may have improved, as how else could they justify the price tag.  Speer

If you could give me the number of the guy who is selling it for $180  I will gladly take it I have one atop a .338 Lapua Mag(of course)... That has served me perfect...  I again will state a fact the people that say Nikko is "not good or is junk or is crap" is becaucse of the low end "junk" they make...  are very mistaken.. I can testify that the Diamond and the later Night Eater are more than capable and have nice features zero stop mil-dot illum and the such.
