Are there any good night vision scopes? Sometimes I go looking for hogs at night and a little night visioon would be handy...

Yes but they are so expensive only the Military can afford them.  Try taking a video camera if you have one and putting it on night mode it will amplify the existing light and you can also film your hunt, also a Q-beam with a red lens or similar set up.   Several mount on the rifle and any large sporting goods store should have something like that  -- they are usually used for preditors. Be sure you wont be violating the game laws though --  usually a quick call to the game warden will let you know if its OK.  My best guess is that for hogs since you can get them in the day this is money not well spent where if you were after preditors that mostly come out at night  - coyotes, bobcats, etc it is probably the best way to hunt them but requires calls and decoys that move etc and can be an expensive hobby.

You can get into decent mid range gen3 plus stuff with 64-72lpi resolution for about $5000.00.

If you are looking for a nice set up I have a nice Litton Aguila 6X GEN III with ranging reticle I am willing to let go for a good price. It is like new with all the mounts and case. It is very bright, and very clear. It is also hard to find in civilian hands. I purchased it legally it is not stolen military. I have slip to prove it.
I paid $7,425 plus shipping... Yours for $5,800 USD firm.
