Very nifty buck. Good spread and tall. Sweet in velvet.

I had e-mailed this pic to my SIL(lives in Shenandoah Co.,Va.).  Monday evening him and my daughter were out mushroom hunting near their home.  He calls on his cell phone telling me they're watching four bucks slowly walk away from them and one is bigger than in the e-mailed pic.  My daughter,in the background,is telling me she don't know how he's holding his head up.  These guys would have been at the most 400yds from their home.
Tomorrow is youth season and my grandaughter is going there for her first deer hunt.

When she gets him at least you will be able to use the beginners luck as an excuse when she rubs it in on OLD GRANDPA.

Well she didn't get the BIG ONE,although HE was there, but she did ok.  SIL said it was a good 200yds.  She missed twice. Warren got her to settle down and with one shot he dropped. 135lbs. field dressed. She was using her mom's .243 Ruger M77 Ultralight Carbine w/100gr Super X pp's.

Almost forgot.  I'm real proud of her.

ExcellentRIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!
No wonder you are proud of her Earl.
Tell her that over here in DK a lot of hunters wont shoot to a deer that is further than 100 - 120 yards away.  The Roedeer is smaller than the whitetalis, but still she did a good job.
Congratulations.Excellent
