Hello guys I'm new to the site and was referred to here by a guy at swfa. I got a rem 700 varmint .308 and wanting some quality glass. Not really wanting to spend more than $500. I'm debating on Burris or vortex diamond. Any other suggestions would be nice mostly gonna be used for deer and pigs but have been looking into yote hunting. Most shots will be within 150 yds but want something that I could reach out to at least 400 with if needed. Wanting a high magnification. Thanks guys

Look at a Nikon monarch as well. Sometimes you will find deals on Minox, and maybe a conquest. I think right now there is also a deal on a Bushnell 6500, on the SWFA sample list.
Enjoy your stay here.

Probably need to let us know if you plan to dial in your shots that will be long or use a holdover type reticle as well as it will make our suggestions to you more refined.

I have the Minox http://swfa.com/Minox-3-15x42-ZA5-Riflescope-P46138.aspx on a DPMS in .204.  Use it for P-dogs and yotes.  Like it very much.  Glass is very nice, magnification range is great for this use, and the tracking is on and repeatable.  Thinking about getting a second.  I let my dad check it out and I lost the gun for the rest of the day.
