I've read that Zeiss has added two new versions to their Conquest line of binoculars; An 8x40mm & 10x40mm with T* coating and Abbe-Konig prisms.

Have they been released yet? If so, has anyone had a chance to evaluate them yet?

Are the Conquest binoculars as good as the Conquest scopes? I've read the Conquest binoculars were a flop.

All input appreciated.

I personnaly haven't.  But they are probably "degraded" Victory II's.  They have T* multicoatings on the air to glass surfaces only, while the Victory II is fully multicoated.  Also they cost more than the Victory II's (and the inventories of these binoculars is being depleted and not replaced).   So why bother with them, buy a Victory II while they are still around.  The reviews on the Victories II's are generally good.  I think this is the one top end binocular that comes closer to costing what it is worth.

Just get the Victory II's.
