Well been a long time since posting.

I picked up a Weatherby Mk V Fibermark in 270 WBY Mag and went with a Weaver Grand Slam 3-10 scope and Talley base/rings.
Just sighted in yesterday.  Works very well.  The guys at the indoor range were impressed with the noise.  Very easy to shoot, BTW.
I could probably use a better scope, but it held up and will work.

That is my final zero group, albeit at 50 yards.  That zero is one inch above POA at 50 yards which equates to a 300 yard point blank zero.  Good setup for the 270 WBY Mag.

did you verify any other distances?   A pic of the whole gun would be nice too.  Big Grin

Nice set up. I would be very comfortable with that rig for 90% of my hunting.
Like Tip said, more pics would be nice.

Very nice setup.  A few years back I got a 257 wby and put a little 3x9 Burris FF II on it as a temporary until I could get a better scope and I liked so well, I never took it off, it's still sitting on the wby 10 years later.  So you might decide to keep it.  It looks perfect.

Nice set up! I think you might get to liking that GS! In my experience it is a very capable optic.

+1  I've had that exact scope for going on 5yrs.  Tried and true as far as I'm concerned.

I knew you were going to say that Cheap!  lol

I had a GS too... it was nice.  I did get rid of it as I was lucky enough to pick-up a Kahles CL 3-10x50 as an upgrade!  Sold it to a buddy and he likes if very much.

No comments on the vise eh... tough crowd here I'll tell ya!
