I just picked up a new Remmy VSF in .204 Ruger. I didn't need it but did want it. The new trigger is nice and user adjustible too. Now I've just got to scope it. I'm leaning towards the Nikon Monarch 4-16 X 42 or the Bushy Elite 4200 4-16 X 40. It should be fun to play with.

Do you have a pic of it?  Curious to see it in black, although I like the color the way it is.

Dogger, you are so right. However, sometimes convincing the "better half" of such is a chore!

BnB, great looking rifle!  Keep us informed on how it shoots for you.

AJ, looks good in black too.  What did you paint it with?

This is what I did to my Remmy stock (I also removed the dual palmswells to make the grip a bit slimmer and replaced the recoil pad.) A car spraypainter did the work for me using automotive paints.

Nice rifles, I have seen a couple I would like to have but the wife and I have had five surgeries in less than two years and paying the deductibles has eaten into my shooting budget. A Rem 700 in a 204 would be a fun prairie dog rifle.
