I posted this target under mounts and bases because of the discussion on LW Talleys vs Dednutz but I guess I'll share my first time experience with this rifle here too.
I broke the rifle in at 50 yrds cleaning between shots, then moved out to 100 yrds and fired groups A throught B, cleaning between groups. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with this rifle and it seems to love cheap Remington Core-lokts.

That looks very good. A 5 shot grouping will be nice to look at as well. Next time you are out at the range send 5 down and show us. But the rifle seems to shoot very well.

Good stuff. You gotta like it when your rifle likes cheap, effective and commonly available ammo. Was that a Tikka T3 or another model?

Thanks guys. Its a T3 stainless shooting off a Caldwell Rock BR. I mounted the 40mm scope using Dednutz lows, perfect fit, very impressed with the strenght and alignment. For what its worth, the Wheeler alignment bars were dead-on point to point. We'll see how they will hold up |

Hey Texas Photog, ever hear of Briley Outfitters in San Angelo? We are heading there in December.

I'm not familiar with Briley Outfitters, but that doesn't mean anything. In Texas I hunt my own land or that of family and friends, so I have no experience with Texas outfitters. That said I went dove hunting just south of San Angelo opening weekend. There's a lot of game in that part of the state; that should be a fun hunt. Good luck!
