Has anyone tried these new binoculars out yet?  The factory blurb seems to indicate that they are ground to slightly finer tolerances and have a slightly different coatings.  They are only about $80 more than the original SLC's.

I own a pair of Swarovski SLC Binos and they are top shelf. They have been on many hunts and on one particular Alaskan hunt the seals on one side gave out to moisture / water. Swarovski with no question asked replaced them.

IMO the Swarovski Products are all great stuff. I though believe that Swaro needed to improve the SLCs a long time ago. Comparing my Swaro SLC to the Zeiss Classics and the higher end Leica models shows the others to be better in ruggedness and optics; at least me and the ones on the hunts with me.

I have not seen the new SLCs but I bet they are a better product than the old.

According to the manufacturers blurb on the SLC and Kahles, they may have been improved optically somewhat, as well as ergonomically.  Does anyone have any more information on the possible optical upgrades for the SLC?
