Put a BSA 8x32x44 on ar15 model A3 for you uninformed it's the removble carrying handle excellent scope for the money holds zero from 25 yds to over 300. I had an old tasco in need of work under life time warrenty, they went belly up new oners said to send scope and 23 dollars and we will let you know how much to fix it .The BSA is much slicker to change range and ajustments than the tasco ever was.As I bought the tasco from (competitor) they were nice enough to give me a very large discount on the BSA to make up for the tasco.try one and you will like it.If your on a budget like me it's the only way too go and still get quality.

clamper:

No hard feelings here either, Brother. Appreciate the email.

Many forum members here, including myself, are either current or former military personnel and are pretty up to speed when it comes to AR's and their components.

That said, I'm sure there are a few forum members that aren't AR buffs and may not know the difference. Your right in explaining yourself.

God Bless.

CT,

I might have been the one that could have been mistaken as "uninformed". Although, in actuality, I am "Uninterested". My M1a is old school, but so am I. I'm big enough to carry a squad gun if things get really bad and I think an MP5 is much better for CQB, or even my glock 23. I have never been a fan of the m-16 or any clones, Stoner 25's are nice.

I was an FTM in the Navy, then they made us all FC's. We use to joke, FTG meant FORGET THE GUN ( P.R.O.

version ), FTM meant FIRE THE MISSILE. The best NGFS I have ever witnessed was the New Jersey, Turret 2 guns, Pete, Re-pete and Ditto. No BS, thats what they named them.

But TLAM's (BGM-109) go alot farther and are more accurate.

How anyone can start a post with this "sentence" which is both incomplete and a run-on at the same time, while simultaneously addressing it to the "uninformed," is way beyond my ability to reconcile.

Hear, Hear!!  I don't wan't to criticize but I come from a time when grammar and spelling counted.  In my first English class at college, we had a composition to write in every class.  It had to be one page, completed in 20 minutes.  A single grammar or spelling error was an F.  We don't need to be that perfect here, but if someone has a point to make it's worth spending the time to make it clear.  If it's so sloppy I have trouble reading it, I don't.
