Im tring to decide between a burris fullfield2 3x9,simmons atec master series and a weaver grandslam Im going to put it on my ruger 300win mag which is my primary huntig gun I have took shots at 300 yards but most are inside 100 so my main  concern is low light capabiltes and clairty.I have shot with many vx2s and not that impressed with the price.I have a simmons 44mag 6.5x20 on a on a winchester stealth 243wssm and im preety happy with the scope.Any opinions will be helpful and any other suggestions are  welcome.

Ive narrowed it down to the grandslam and the burris I like the rectical on the burris other than that how much better is the grandslam opticly.

I'd say that the Weaver Grand Slam is a step or two up, over the Burris Full Field optically.  I would agree that the "new" Nikon Buckmaster mentioned would also be worth considering.  Again, I think the Weaver will out perform both but I like the New Buckmaster better than the Burris Full Field as far as optics go.  The Simmons is not in the same class as any of the other scopes mentioned. 

 

Also you might want to look at the Pentax line.  Pentax scopes are made by Burris.
