Friends, I just ordered a new scope for my CZ 452 .22LR.

Went with the Weaver Classic Rimfire 2-7x28 and Warne rings. Ordered both medium and high, just to be sure I can keep the bolt handle off the ocular housing.

Thanks to Tahqua and Sholling for their help.

Let me know if you like it, Mark.  I'm looking for a sub 150 dollar scope for my 22.  I think that might be perfect.

Good call. That scope is actually $129.00 from our friends at SWFA though. If I'm referencing the right scope.

Yeah, I kicked around the idea of a 3-9x for the rifle. I was tempted briefly by the Weaver 3-9x with an AO.
And also the Buckmaster 4.5-14x40mm with a Nikoplex, which is one of my all time favorite low $$$ scopes.

But, most of my shooting will be done on squirrels, stray cats, and at the range out to 50 yards or so. Sometimes to 100 yards.

2-7x will more than fill that role, I think. I liked the fact that the Weaver is light weight, thin, fairly short and the parallax is set at 50 yards. I'm a little scared of "bulking up" this sleek rifle configuration any more than necessary too.
Read several favorable reviews on here about the weaver, so thought it would be cool.

Thank you for your interest! I'll post pics when it arrives.

Hmm.....why does the brand name of the scope come up as competitor?

There is a filter that does not allow competitors of SWFA to show. Your post is showing the scope you have on your 452, no big deal.
Others try spamming this site with links to other optics dealers and this is against the forum rules. Many others don't read the rules and post links to other competitors.
The filter is not discriminate. Nor should it be, SWFA owns this site.

Thank you. Gents!

I never would have went with the Weaver had I not read the props it got here. Probably would have popped for a Buckmaster or Vortex, but would have spent more cash and obtained more size and weight.
This rig FEELS right! Shoulders superbly.
Once again, this forum steered me right!
I couldn't be happier for the coin spent.
$200 for optic and rings is a hell of a deal.

Varmints beware.....
