Hello and thanks for your input. I just picked up a Remy Sendero in 25-06 for white tail hunting. I am looking for suggestions for a scope. We typically hunt from ground blinds and tree stands over large alfalfa fields, with shot's ranging from 75 yds out to 350. Some criteria I am considering:
1. I would like to keep the objective size between 40 and 44. I have a couple of 50mm scopes and the one knock is the the overall mounting height.
2. Do I need an adjustable objective for those 350 yd shots?
3. Illuminated reticle? Are they worth the exspense or not?
4. Scopes I am consdiering: Zeiss Conquest, Burris Signature select, Nikon Monarch, Lupy VX-III, and Khales (off of the sample list).
Thanks for your help and input.
Sincerely,

A Monarch 4-12 or a Zeiss 4.5-14 would make a good combo for your needs. 350 is along ways out there. Make sure YOU along with the gun and scope are up to it.

25-06 is a great white tail cartrige with the right bullet, do your
self a favor and use a bonded bullet or a controlled expansion bullet
such as a partition or a Barnes triple shock or something similar. The
25-06 is very capable of 350 yrd shots if you do your part and you use
a good bullet. with lighter bullets or thinner bullets ( such as
ballistic tips you might not be as happy with the results, especially
at close range.
