Well, it's not listed in or as a tactical scope, but to me, based on it's style, it's magnification and all that, and what I'll be putting it on, and again, to me, it's a tactical scope. lol

Anyhow, that said, I went ahead and ordered a Weaver Super Slam Euro style scope, 1.5-5X24, product #800375. Note, the picture shown on SWFA IS NOT the correct picture. The only place I've found to have the correct picture is at Competitor
Anyhow, I just wanted to share this with you guys. I hope it's as I expect it to be and there are and it will have NO issues...It took me a long time to find and decide on a scope...

FWIW, it's going to be mounted on a Stag Arms model 5L chambered in 6.8SPC...Giggity, Giggity.

Oh, I forgot. Now all I have to do is find and get a mount. I like the Burris P.E.P.R., but, I'd prefer a mount or it to have or be quick release. If I can find some nuts or similar so I can take it off by hand, that'll work also. The only other thing I don't like about the P.E.P.R. mount is it only comes with what I'll call the tactical top ring. Where it has the weaver mount on it. Because I won;t be mounting anything on or using it. Yes, I know, you can buy the plain top ring for it. But the way I see it, that's just more money I'd rather not and don't want to spend.

And the quick release mounts I have found and that are available, aren't cheap. Anyhow, another discussion for another time.

Look into the mounts from Armalite, Rock River, and Wilson. They run from $75.00 to $100.00. Also, give a look into the new mount from Warne. It looks to be pretty good but I have yet to hear anything regarding it's price.

Thanks for the suggestions regarding mounts. I'll take the time and check them out now.

Can we edit our posts? I haven't found out how or where to like at other forums so until I do or can, I'll just have to add another post. lol

Anyhow, I should have made a point to specify as far as a mount, I'm looking at and prefer a one piece mount. I just checked the Warne stuff and didn't see anything one piece. They seem to have some nice stuff though.

Warne R.A.M.P. is a one piece mount. I've just learned that it's going for 200 bucks or so and for that price I'd go with LaRue instead.
