It should work fine, although there are certainly better solutions out there.  They do cost more money though.

It shouldwork ok.  If I could ask does your style of hunting or shooting require that much magnification?  I hunt out west and for larger game (deer, pigs, bear ect..) I have never really needed more than a 3-9.  The reason I ask is that the lower power should save you some money if you want to upgrade.

I will tell you that some people out there think that you need to have a Swarovski $1,800 scope.  I would not go that far.  But I used to buy cheaper scopes, and I found out if your willing and able to save a little bit more money say in the $200 range you will find that there are some very good scopes that will offer you much better performance and a lifetime of shooting enjoyment.

On a side note a good scope that comes up on E-bay that I have been very happy with for the price is the Simmons ATV.  It is pretty clear and bright and you can usally pick on up for under a $100

I have seen a few of those Banners puke at the range.

Maybe it's just my experience, but that scope seems to have some problems internally.
