if this is referencing the RPR Ruger Precision Rifle, Looks like a pretty useful platform at a great price point. Have only seen 2 demo's though. Definitely interested in one in 308...will see what the jury says.

MSRP on this girl is $1399.00. That's a lot 'o gun for the price. If I read correctly, you can use AI mags with this too, in addition with the ability to swap out barrels fairly easily.
Wish they offered one in a .300 Winnie....

LowLight did it review for it on the Hide. He seemed to really like it.
Looks like a great setup for the money.

The creed well probably be the best selling caliber. It is decidedly a feature rich rifle, I just hope the barrel quality stays high, because ruger has a history it'd letting quality slip after the new wears off a product line.

I'm kinda scratching my head on this one....
If your going all "PRECISION" why try doing it on an AR15 platform?!?!
Granted there are limitless clothes to dress it in but an AR15 barby doll gun just doesn't ring true to me in the "Precidion" arena.... reduced kickback and reduced mussle flip are nice things to have but....

The only AR parts are the sticks grip and for end. It is still a bolt action so it will lock up tight. Bring able to run different tires of magazines id's also a plus.
The biggest benefit of running AR furniture, is adaptability and customization. If you can tune the stock to fit YOU, and not the other way around, you will shoot better! |

"Feature rich" indeed. I see now that it's a folder too. I like it.

My local dealer got one in each caliber and all three sold the same day. I bought the 6.5 Creedmore and robbed the SS 3-15 from my Grendel for break in. These have hammer forged 5R rifled barrels and are built on the Ruger American action. Using Hornady factory 140 grain ammo the thrid shot got it on POA and the next five shots measured under .6". Shots 1-5 were each from a clean barrel. The next three shots without cleaning were clover leafed. Dies, brass and bullets are on the way. Although list is $1,399 and prices are going crazy on Gun Broker, of the four I have seen locally three sold for $995 and one for $1,095 so shop around. It will be a couple weeks before I can get to the range again and I should have some test loads worked up. I'm thinking mine may need Cerakote if the initial accuracy with factory loads holds up or improves with handloads.
