Nice rifle..  Any of the leups, zeiss, swarvs, khales would be great for that gun and handle the recoil.  I can't recommend the size/power cause I'm not familiar with that caliber or what you want to use it for.  I assume its not squirrels

I would consider one of the Swarovski's due to the springloaded eyecup, something you'll appreciate on big old thumper like that!  Will help keep you from getting acquainted with a "magnum eyebrow"!

Fixed power Loopie. Or fixed power S&B.

Lower maintenance w/ fixed power scopes. Especially with that hoss!!

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

leupy 1.75-6, awesome scope/gun combonation, and nice rifle you picked too, i love mine in 300 RUM, but im always affraid to take it in the woods from the thought of possibly scratching that beautiful piece of wood. hope you like it, and yes, it will thump you, i suggest making a cusion for sight-in out of about 4 layers or 1/2" furniture padding, and trust me, this will reduce the recoil a WHOOOOOLLLLEEEEE lot, and working your way down to 3 pieces, 2 pieces, 1, and nothing, so you get more used to it.

I use a S&B fixed 4x36 on my custom built 458mag. It has seen hundreds of rounds and shows no worse from the recoil. It is also the best optic I have ever owned in my mind.
