Any of you optic dogs out there been able to look through one of the "new" Redfields Scopes?  They seem to be highly touted by Redfield and sound like they could be a good comparison to something like a Zeiss Conquest or maybe something a little higher up the food chain than that!   Anyway, I'm scope shopping again and was just wondering what they looked like!

The ones I have seen are not in the same league as the Zeiss Conquest. They seem to be closer compared with lower leupolds.

They are comparable to leupold rifleman scopes.  not comparable to conquest at all, not even the box they come in can compare to the box a zeiss comes in.  I used one for about two days on a 17HMR and moved it along.

Actually he could have been talking about the jap scopes that were excellent for the price 150-175 they were the bestscope ever in that price range, or it could have been in reference to the "MEADE" project that never made it to market. The one with wings.
