I called Nikon today and they said the scopes are shipping to dealers "end of the month". I asked if this was a "real" date or not, he said yes.

FYI, I called last month, and asked the same question. Was told scopes would be shpping out "no later than end of July", and this date was guarantted by GM of North America.

So I guess we'll see them when they are good and damn ready. And we'll like it.

Kevin

I know that one of the hardest things to do is wait for someting that is a new product that you really could have used yesterday, but rest assured that SWFA will ship your order in a timely manner as soon as they recieve the product.  They have a huge inventory of products on hand and if there is a critical time sensitive need for a product you should call and ask if they have the item on hand or search samplelist which is almost always on hand in inventory.  Obviously they cant ship what they have not recieved and logically they would like to sell as much product as is possible because thats how they make a living, so bear with them the best you can.  ( I sent a note to Chris a couple of weeks ago suggesting an e-mail  notification of backorder on a monthly basis- telling the customer that the item was still on backorder and would be shipped ASAP when they recieve it.  I've been there too, and am currently waiting for a scope.  STAND FAST )
