Are there any major benefits to stepping up to the new monarch?  The 2.5-10 x 42 new monarch is roughly twice as expensive as the team primos.  Is it really that much better?

Thanks,
Mike

Optically there really won't any difference to these two, The monarch does offer some features not found on the primos though.

So for a general hunting scope, and if you don't mind the BDC, the Primos is the way to go?

Both are gonna be very good hunting scopes. The Primos is a major bargain though.

i have a primos and the bdc doesnt bother me at all, you may need a trip or three to the range to get used to it being  there, but after that you wont notice it until you need it. its a great scope for $200.

I thought the Team Primos  was or is a  monarch?  but they put the Team Primos logo on them. because thy're being discontinued,
I dont see,A 3 x 9 in the Monarch line.
And once they're gone, they're gone, for the price I like to get 2 my self.
